In his years as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in both the United States Army and private practice, Dr. Sonstegard has had the unique opportunity to experience - and excel at - both the leadership and clinical aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery: leading a clinic through successful accreditation by The Joint Commission, serving as an educator in an advanced education in general dentistry residency, completing numerous cases of corrective jaw surgery, and becoming fluent in clinic procedures including, but not limited to, dental extractions, wisdom tooth removal, placement of dental implants, various bone grafting procedures, treatment of benign pathology, and all levels of anesthesia. Dr. Sonstegard is board certified and committed to providing exceptional care to his patients.
